Overview

Wild At Heart Adventures (WAHA) is a Christ-centered family ministry designed to promote true fellowship, encourage worship, and to discover and enhance the spirit of adventure, while experiencing the glory of God through His creation. WAHA is not associated with a specific denomination or church, but works closely with churches, ministries, organizations and corporations that share the WAHA mission or wish to participate in the adventures ministries offered.

To provide opportunities to experience and share adventure, nurture and promote true fellowship, encourage worship, and build relationships in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

History

The founder of Wild At Heart Adventures recognized the significant need for Christian fellowship, worship and service outside the typical Sunday morning services. WAHA was formed to provide Christ-centered activities in diverse settings to meet the urgent need for worship and fellowship that isn't met within structured church activities, and to reflect Christ's love through service to those in the community in need . A strong biblical basis and full dependence on Christ's wisdom, direction and blessing serve as the foundation for the organization's purpose and drive to a) serve others, b) offer others the opportunity to serve others, and c) provide a vehicle for fellowship and worship in a group setting.

Adventures

WAHA adventures are designed to provide true Christian fellowship in a wide variety of settings: indoor to outdoor, primitive to convenient, and local to distant. Adventures are suitable for those hoping to find adventure, those seeking yet more adventure, and the more experienced adventure seeker. Trips are tailored to accommodate novices, weekend warriors and experts. Join others with similar interests and share the adventure and fellowship.

They devoted themselves continually to teaching, to fellowship, to sharing meals together, and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over everyone, and many wonders and signs were being done. All believers were together, and shared everything with one another. They freely sold what they owned to assist anyone who was in need. They shared a single purpose and worshiped every day. They ate at each other’s homes and shared food with glad and humble hearts. They were continually praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people.
