The
Bible is the inspired Word of God and without error in the original
writing, and is the supreme source of authority in matters of faith,
conduct, life and truth. |
 |
There is
only one God, eternally existent, personal and knowable, who
manifests Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the
Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all three of which are co-equal in
power and glory, identical in their essential nature, attributes and
perfection, and He is worthy of our worship, confidence and
obedience. |
 |
Jesus is
the eternal, pre-existent Son of God. He willingly took on the body
of a man, was virgin-born, and became our sinless substitute by
shedding His blood on the cross to completely pay the price of our
sins. We believe He died, was buried, resurrected in a literal body,
ascended into Heaven, and is presently our advocate and only High
Priest, and the only Mediator between God and man. |
 |
The Holy
Spirit is the person of the Triune Godhead that convicts the lost
and indwells the believer and places him or her in the Body of
Christ, sealing them unto the Day of Redemption. The fruit of the
Holy Spirit in one's life is love, a desire to know and obey God’s
Word, and a desire for fellowship with and serve other believers.
|
 |
Satan is
a personality that is the arch-enemy of God and man, who seeks to
discredit and dishonor God and to deceive those whom God would save.
|
 |
Every
person is born with a sinful nature, is spiritually dead and cannot
please God until Christ gives him life. |
 |
Salvation, which delivers the believer from sin, spiritual death, and hell, is
only available by God's grace, through the
Lord Jesus Christ, who died as a substitute for us to atone for our
sins, and all who believe in Him are justified by His shed
blood and righteousness. |
 |
Salvation is a free gift of God to anyone
who personally places his confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ and
His finished work on the Cross. It must be received by faith apart
from any human performance or merit. |
 |
All who
trust fully in the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ are
eternally secure, and that their final state will be one of eternal
fellowship and bliss in God’s presence along with the other
“redeemed” of all ages. |
 |
All
believers should assemble in local churches and with other believers
for fellowship, mutual edification, encouragement, service and
worship. |
 |
Believers should witness to the world by leading lives separated
unto the Lord and by shunning all appearance of evil or worldliness.
|
 |
The Lord
Jesus Christ will personally return for His own before the
tribulation and before His millennial reign. |
 |
Every
human being is directly responsible to God in matters of faith and
life and should be free to worship God according to his
understanding of the Scriptures. Christians should obey and respect
the law of the land as taught in Scripture except when the law
encroaches upon the individual's right to worship God as his
conscience dictates. |
