WAHA offers exciting adventures in a wide variety of settings that accommodate novices, weekend warriors and experts. No experience necessary. Join others with similar interests and share the adventure and fellowship. Got family? Bring them along, young and old alike. Here are the upcoming adventures planned. Duck Hunting -

This is your chance to get your feet wet (not
really--figuratively ) and try duck hunting. Watch the
first blush of dawn while waiting for the ducks to dip into the
decoys, maybe giving you a very brief opportunity to try and put
them on the table. Space for this adventure is very
limited, so call or email WAHA immediately if you're interested. ♦ Sporting Clays - 1/23 (Sat 1-4 PM) [ Cancelled due to rain/flooding ] - $25/person (100 clay targets)
An adventure full of challenge and great fun that merges

Predator Hunt

- $165/person w/o lion tag ($Add'l $50 for lion tag, which each adventure must purchase directly) A new WAHA adventure in 2010. Spend two days hunting wary coyotes, bobcats and maybe even mountain lions in wild, remote locations, but spend your nights sleeping in motel lodging (included). WAHA also provides all of your meals and hunting permits. Space is very limited, so call or send an email for more details if you're interested. ♦ Prairie Dog Hunt - 3/19-21 (Fri PM-Sun PM) [ Only 4 Openings Left ] - $165/person
A hunt for prairie dogs in northern Arizona that
helps ranchers control pests that cause costly
damage and livestock injuries, while allowing you to sharpen your skills and enjoying great fellowship.
Cost includes lodging and food.

Video Archery -

An indoor video hunt with numerous scenarios of game animals from around the world to sharpen your skills. Never shot a bow before? No problem. Come along and learn. This is a great adventure for all ages. Includes lunch, range access fees and plenty of challenges and fellowship.

White Mountain Fishing

A great opportunity to fish several of the beautiful lakes and
streams in the White Mountains south of Pinetop/Lakeside on the
Apache Indian Reservation, while staying a nice hotel and eating at
local restaurants (Charlie's anyone?). This time of year marks the
start of the season at these lakes, and the fishing is usually
great.
♦ Hurricane Lake - 6/17-20 (Thu AM-Sun PM) - $90/person
Spend four days and three nights with
WAHA on this very
popular adventure of fishing and camping at a
private lake
situated at 9,000 feet in cool Northern Arizona. This is an
awesome, much-anticipated adventure with fantastic scenery, cool
temperatures and great fishing. Includes dinner Friday night
(Malibu Chicken) and Saturday night (Steak), plus delicious snacks

Colorado Gold Medal Fly-Fishing

- $40/person Another new WAHA adventure in 2010. Bring your camping gear (or WAHA can book a motel room for you at additional cost) and spend three days fishing some incredible streams in southern Colorado. WAHA will provide a restaurant dinner Friday and Saturday night, plus water and Gatorade. Send an email for more details if you're interested.

Pit your skills against the fast and elusive quail
and the aerobatic dove,
and assist wildlife by pursuing coyotes and other predators; all in
the same trip. Guaranteed to challenge you and provide great
fellowship.

bring yourself and your gear. All of your lodging and food is
