Join Wild At Heart Adventures on a wild hog hunt in south Texas. This is an awesome adventure where your quarry has sharp tusks, an excellent sense of smell and surprisingly good vision. And talk about "bringing home the bacon," if the opportunities are there and your aim is true, you can bag up to two hogs per adventurer. The hunt involves shooting from elevated or ground blinds, and depending on the weather, hunts typically occur during early morning and late evening. As a bonus, the adventure includes sporting clays, fishing in the local pond and a heated swimming pool.
Firearm hunters need a rifle and appropriate ammunition.
The adventure leaves Phoenix Thursday morning and returns late Monday night, for those traveling from Phoenix. Those who purchased the "Meet at the Ranch" option need to arrive at the ranch no longer than 1:30 PM CT Friday, and leave the ranch by noon on Sunday.
Reservations can be made at any time. Deposits and payments, which are non-refundable, are required as outlined follows: è Additional payment of $250 ($350 total) due by August 1, 2010 è Full payment due by August 1, 2010 Refer to the WAHA Policies for information regarding deposits, payments and non-refundable policies.  Hunters will drive from Phoenix to south Texas, stopping for the night on the way and arriving noon on Friday. The return trip begins Sunday noon with another stop on the way back, returning Monday evening. The "Meet at the Ranch" adventurers must coordinate their own travel to/from the ranch.
All lodging is included, with shared motel rooms on the way there and back (two per room) for those traveling from Phoenix, and full accommodations at the ranch during the hunt.
The 2010 adventure is limited to 15 hunters.
Wild hog hunting is available year-round.
