Wild at Heart Adventures (WAHA) has a new fishing and camping adventure for you and your whole family.

WAHA reserved a private lake situated 8,500’ high in the cool pines of the White Mountains just for you. The WAHA Family White Mountain Fishing/Camping Adventure is typically scheduled for early to mid-June, and is a great opportunity to escape the summer heat to camp and fish at a small, secluded lake with access limited to only WAHA adventurers. The lake is open to all types of fishing making this a great fishing opportunity for all ages.

Fishing rod, lures, bait, flies and accessories are needed, with some equipment available for use for those without, so don't stay away just because you don't have fishing gear. Optional equipment includes waders, float tubes, etc. Bring your favorite PowerBait, lures or flies, or stop at a local fly shop and purchase "what's hot."

This is a camping adventure, so bring whatever you need for camping: tent, RV, tent trailer, or sleep under the stars.

Bring an ice chest for fish if you plan to bring fish home. The private lake allows unlimited catch-and-release fishing, but you may only keep five fish per day, with a limit of ten in possession.

Appropriate clothing. Averages temperatures range from highs in the low 70s to lows to lows in the 40s.

Three days and two nights.

The adventure begins Friday morning at 5:00 AM and ends Sunday evening at midnight, if you wish to stay that late.

Carpool transportation available. Travel time is approximately 3.5 hours.

This great adventure includes dinner Friday night, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast Sunday morning.

Accommodation include three full days and two nights (Fri, Sat) of camping access at Cyclone Lake, a private lake in the White Mountains of northern Arizona.

There is plenty of room for campers at the lake, so don't miss out. A reservation is required to attend, and full payment is required to make a reservation.

This family fishing and camping adventure is limited to the summer months. The date of the next adventure is TBD.
