Journey north to the Black River on the Apache Indian Reservation. Camp in a beautiful primitive area with great smallmouth bass and trout fishing just a short hike away.
Fishing rod and accessories are needed, with some gear available for use for those without, so don't stay away just because you don't have fishing gear. Bring your favorite flies or lures, or stop at the local pro shop and purchase "what's hot."
Three days and two nights. Leave Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening.
Adventure originates and ends in Phoenix, AZ, with carpooling available. Travel time is approximately 3 hours each way.
Bring your own accommodations for this trip. The primitive roads make tents or campers the only viable accommodations, or you can sleep under the stars.
Each trip will include a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 adventurers.
Fishing the Black River in northern Arizona is available all year long, but best between May-Nov
