Wild at Heart Adventures offers exciting adventures in a wide variety of settings, from indoor to outdoor, primitive to convenient, and local to distant. The adventures are suitable for those hoping for adventure, those seeking more adventure, and the more experienced adventurers. Trips accommodate novices, weekend warriors and experts.

Adventures are divided into categories for quick access. Look to the left for a list of the current adventure categories. Click on a category to see the adventures awaiting you.

Each adventure offers a unique experience for those who participate. A brief description of the information provided for each adventure is presented below. Review the summary below or jump right to one of the adventures types listed to the left. There are also other adventures like camping, BBQs and Picnics. Send an email to WAHA and sign-up for WAHA email updates so you don't miss any of the adventures and fellowship.

This outlines the adventure and provides a flavor of what can be expected.

Some adventures require no equipment while extensive equipment is needed for others. For those without the needed equipment, many adventures are tailored to allow sharing between fellow adventurers. Equipment is often available for rental at a minimal charge.

Adventures vary in length from a few hours to several days. This section describes the time commitment for each adventure.

"Are we there yet?" Check out the mode of travel and the travel time anticipated.

For adventures longer than a day, accommodations are provided. Typically shared with other adventurers, the amenities vary from "roughing it" to having things done for you (almost).

The number of adventurers is limited for each adventure. The minimum required or maximum allowed is outlined in this section.

Not all adventures are available year round. No one wants to hunt coyotes when the temperature is 115° in the shade, and fishing isn't safe when the lakes are covered with a thin layer of ice. The months best suited for each adventure are highlighted to show availability. For example, the calendar below shows an adventure that is only available October through May.
